    Frequently Asked Questions

    Does getting a filling hurt?

It should not: it is done under local anaesthetic. When it wears off there may be some sensitivity for a day or two.

    When can I eat?

Once the anaesthetic has worn off, so you do not bite your cheek or lip without noticing.

When is an inlay/onlay needed instead of a filling?

When a large part of the tooth is missing. A very large filling breaks more easily; a ceramic-reinforced composite inlay/onlay protects it better.

My filling has fallen out or hurts, what should I do?

Book an appointment and we will check it. If the pain is severe, it is an emergency and you get a same-day appointment within the clinic's opening hours.

    How much does it cost?

It depends on the number of cavities and their size. Your first visit is free and includes a panoramic X-ray, a diagnosis and a no-obligation quote.
