Dental Surgery
Duration: 45 - 90 minutes per procedure. Recovery: 4 - 6 days of discomfort. Oral surgery deals with what cannot be treated in a normal visit: wisdom teeth, teeth that need to be extracted, bone grafts and implant placement. When needed, we plan the procedure with a dental CT scan (CBCT) at the clinic itself and operate under local anaesthetic.

Who is this treatment for?
For you if a wisdom tooth hurts or has no room to come through, if a tooth can no longer be saved, or if you lack the bone to place an implant.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does an extraction hurt?
With local anaesthetic you should not feel pain during the procedure, only pressure. Afterwards some discomfort and swelling for a few days is normal; we tell you what to take and how often.
Do wisdom teeth always have to come out?
No. It is usually done when they cause pain or infection, have no room, or damage the tooth next to them. We assess this with an examination and imaging.
What is normal after surgery?
Slight bleeding on the first day that gradually eases, and discomfort and swelling that usually last 4 to 6 days. We give you the instructions in writing. If the pain or swelling gets worse instead of better, or you have a fever, call us.
How is implant surgery paid?
Implant surgery must be paid 48 hours before the appointment. You can finance the treatment over 12 to 60 months.
I have pain or an abscess, can you see me today?
Yes. A dental emergency gets a same-day appointment within the clinic's opening hours. Call +34 822 775 133 or message us on WhatsApp at +34 674 354 930 and say it is an emergency. If you also have a fever, marked facial swelling, or difficulty swallowing or breathing, go to a hospital emergency department or call 112 straight away.
